MY MOST EFFECTIVE MOTIVATION TOOLS.
Yeah I get it. Being inspired and motivated everyday is hard but not impossible!
I'm here to share with you some of the most effective tools that have personally helped me achieve my fitness goals and have also helped hundreds of my clients stay consistent & reach their fat loss and fitness goals!
Tools to help you stay consistent on your fitness journey.
1. ACCOUNTABILITY CALENDAR
Place a nice big calendar right next to your bed, so every night before you go to bed you mark a BIG CHECK on the day, if you completed your workout and another BIG STAR if you reached your nutrition goals for the day!
The streak of maintaining a calendar full of checks & starts will encourage and keep you going in the right direction!
2. VISION BOARD
Create a picture collage filled up with what you want in life.
I personally have pictures of oceanfront homes, a happy running fit girl, a strong lifting girl, a couple dancing and being active together and other happy people. Since what I want in life is to be strong, look strong, feel great, and help others achieve the same!
Creating your vision board and seeing it every day will remind you and brainwash your brain with what you want in life!
It will inspire you as soon as you wake up and see it, to continue to move forward towards your goals and dreams.
3. EVALUATE YOURSELF
Get very real and clear with yourself and write it ALL down.
Why do you want this?
How do you want to feel?
Why is this important to you?
How do you feel now?
Why are you not where you want to be?
Self evaluation is necessary for growth.
4. ANSWER YOUR FUTURE EXCUSES
Record yourself with your phone & write your future self excuses and REPLY to them as well.
(you know yourself better than anyone else. )
Example: " I don't feel like working out today, I'm tired from working all day.."
Response: " HEY! You will feel SO much better after the workout, I promise!!
"If you don't put in the work no one else will do it for you.
It's your choice to stay miserable or GET IT DONE regardless of your emotions right now. "
Example: " I had 2 cookies on the weekend... I messed up, might as well GO ALL OUT!"
Response: " 2 cookies won't get you off track. 1 meal won't ruin all your progress! " Simply get back on track!
" 2 cookies is like 500 calories"
" If I go ALL OUT It will be like 2,500 calories!"
I have control over my choices and outcomes.
Listen to the recordings when you find yourself struggling!
It will motivate the sh$ out of you!
No one else will motivate you as much as when YOU motivate yourself.
5. PREPARE FOR SUCCESS
Strategize your Sundays to be ready to CRUSH your MONDAYS!
- Meal Prep: Prepare a large batch of cooked protein sources ready to go. I like to grill some chicken, boil eggs, have tuna cans, and have some handy protein shakes in my kitchen at all times.
Another MAJOR tool is this
- I Pre- Log my future daily meals on Myfitnesspal, making sure I'm hitting my nutrition goals ahead of time so there's no room for guesswork.
- Preparing some protein overnight breakfast oats or some egg sandwiches are me go-to!
- I make sure I have a ton of veggies & fruit already measured out in ziplock bags ready to go!
- I also do laundry and have my workout clothes out and ready for my week!
NO EXCUSES.
Get it done or not.
The choice is yours.
You have the power.
I hope my story helps you, inspires you in any way!
